Long-EZ N86TD took 5 years to complete and was first flown on 2/26/88. Pushed with a Lycoming O-235-L2C and Hendrickson multi-lam prop. Installed electric speed brake, electric trim and Infinity (HOS) stick grip (electric roll trim coming soon). Several other subtle modifications were incorporated while building. She has taken Grand Champion and several subsequent First Place awards at EAA Arlington, Washington. Fun flying bomber. Gee...I think I will start on my next project - a Murphy Rebel on amphibious floats...the adventure continues!
