If you just extend the lines from the fuselage down to where you want the point to be it works out pretty well. I
was told when looking from the side that the nose should taper to about a golf ball size radius and looking from
the top about a softball size radius for the most pleasant look. The nose should also come to a point about a third of
the way up from the bottom of the fuselage which is about 8".
I also rough out the side view first, then the top view, not both at once. One the top and side are close I
round the edges. Use a wire brush to start and then a long sanding board as you get closer.
