Annual Inspection Check List

My EZ is almost to the date of annual inspection. I have seen check lists for the inspection but can't remember where I saw it. Could someone please let me know where I call download one?

A side Note: I was having cylinder head temp problems and built about a dozen different baffles/ramps. Not much of that worked or just moved the problem around. The last thing I did was to carefully reroute all my oil lines, gas lines, and electrical wiring to be as compact as possable and leave the air passages to the cylinders as clear as possable, this did more good that all the other stuff I tried. Head temps are now 320 to 345.

What were the temps before?  Those are very good.  I assume that is updraft cooling measured at the bayonette.

In answer to what temps I had before. I have upflow cooling with a NACA inlet. I started with temps of 400 to 450 on take off and had to reduce the power to 2300 to keep all cylinders under 400. I can now run at 2500 and have good temps. I am using a GR Tech. engine monitor on all four cylinders with probes. I have the oil cooler behind the carb. and I think the oil lines were most of the problem in messing up the air flow inside the cowl.
Also, thanks for the info on the check list. I knew there was one in the POH but I thought there was a different/better one.

I don't have any pictures but an important thing, in my experience, is to keep all hoses, wires,etc grouped as much as possable out of the air stream to the cylinders. The thing that made me think of trying was that on my engine (O320E2D) the carb is not in the center of the cowl. There is more room on the left side than the right and I was having more temp. problems with the right cylinders. Even now the warmest cylinder is on the right side. I completed the changes just before I went to RR and was pleased to be able to run at any speed and not have to slow down to keep the temps down. I do have small aluminum ramps angling up to the cylinders-two on the right and one on the left. These are attached to the side of the cowl leaving the bottom clear under the air cleaner for the oil cooler.

I have 4 bayonet probes on the bottom of the cylinders. I think the temps you see with the spark plug sensor might be somewhat hotter than the bayonets are.

At the end of this month, I'll have 2 weeks hollidays, and 'll have a couple of available hours to work arrond the engine.
Next goal will be to concidere propeller.
Only 2200 rpm static........Sea level.
She fly, yes, (and me too !)
But the diameter (and pitch?) is far too large for a poor O-235  : 63 x 77 (!).
Calculations "told" me to reduce diameter down to 57". (Wood propeller).
Coherent w Owner's manual; Ouf....
Don't know if I can start progressively (1 inch after 1 inch), + balancing check.
Does somebody here experienced such a "reducing" process ? :shock:
