tying down, not hangaring an EZ

OK Here are some interesting things about tying down for 20 years in the snow, rain, and sun...

Great post with lots of good experience!  I think that was what the original question was driving at and I agree that I missed the mark on responding to it directly.   Since I try to speak from direct experience, what I posted was about all I had to offer.  (Don't ya just hate the posts that start with "The ONLY WAY!!! to do xxxx in an EZ is..." and end "I'm thinking of building an EZ soon"?)  
Waiter did a nice job in his second post covering the 'known experience' (canopy covers, drains, etc.) that I should have mentioned, but he did a better job remembering them all than I would have, I'm sure.  

We run a pretty spartan hanger, for sure.  Last year's electricity bill was $10.60... a $10 annual handling fee and $0.60 for 3 kwh of usage.  I was thrilled to pay for it, as it's the first year we've even had electricity!  (It was $350 to install the service - another of those 'unplanned hanger costs'.)  
No carpet or A/C, and it's pretty 'cozy' with three VEZ in a T-hanger!  :roll:

Louis,  I've got a couple photos up on the site, I just received a photo that has about 7000 EZs in one hangar. I'll get that up there tonight. (Mine's EZ to recognize, its the white one in the back (JOKE:) :lol:  :lol:  :lol:
