gear leg fairings

Ok, stay calm. Don't flame me. I am just asking a question.

Has anyone looked at the glass gear fairings that Van's aircraft sells for RV's? Could these be adapted for a VE/LE? Same principal!

I am probably going to make my own. Lightspeeds are far to expensive I think. But I ran across these and just thought I would ask. They are only $95 per pair.

Other than that does anyone know of others that are available?

With plastic, anything's possible....

The thing I see that I think would make what you are proposing difficult is that the Van's aircraft gear legs are straight, while the stock EZ legs are curved.  Making the Van's fairings curve seems non-trivial.  I think you'd have to notch them or something to make them fit.   In the end, it would be easier to make your own.  Maybe look at Marc Borom's page describing the process:

The current April edition of the CSA Newsletter describes with some detail two methods of making gear fairings..written by Gary Hertzler.
I expect that attaching foam to the gear is the easier one.
