Winter and Work;

New management at my company. I've been given the go-ahead with several major projects, so its been 12 - 14 hour days 7 days a week.

These projects are mature enough that they can now be handed off to several of my subordinates. SO, this means more time for the EZ.

This has been a particularly cold winter. To help offset our "DOUBLING" of gas prices, I've resorted to cutting and splitting wood. Our gas usage is about 1/2 of last year, but the highest bill so far has been $350 (would have been $700 if we don't use the fireplace insert).

I'm sand and fill the bottom of the strakes this weekend.

I have an EAA visit this Wednesday, so I need to clean up the shop and make it look like progress has been made!!!

Arizona has been warm, good for building!  However, my progress has been slow because of work and honeydos!

waiter: I've been cutting and splitting wood now for 20years,love the heat. But it is time to change,getting to old to be in the woods alone .Chainsaws are dangerous.pellet stoves are nice but I've have found out about corn burners.If you google it there is a good site from the University of Pennsylvania that is very informative. #2corn is really cheap.
