Non builder needs to know best method of repair of a 4 inch spot on the top of the left wing. Cut it all out or inject? thanks larry
Larry, you're not giving us very much to work with on this question. What caused the delamination (impact, bad luck, bad foam...)? Exactly where is it located? What is the shape of the delamination? Is it a simple delamination from the foam or are there inter-layer delamination as well? Is there any appreciable space between the glass and foam? Why is it the only delamination or are there more still to be found? etc. etc.
The simple answer is, it's best to get an experienced builder to take a look since any remote diagnosis that isn't eyeballs-on is always going to be speculative. Another answer would be that Rutan discusses structural damage and acceptable repair practices in the Canard Pusher and/or plans so you can read/learn/do this yourself.
If it is a simple, circular delamination with good foam under it and basically at-contour I'm pretty certain what I'd do; but I'll let the more agressive types who are more comfortable with remote-repair advice jump in here. :?
