I'm planning to attend this years Rough River event. Unfortunately my plane won't be ready for this run, so commercial flight will have to do. I would hopefully use my frequent flyer miles and fly into Knoxville and drive south to the event. How far out are the motels booked out for this event or can anyone out there recomend motel/hotel locations??? :?:
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Fly into Nashville. Knoxville is WAAAY out of the way. RR is only about 2 hours by car north of nashville. To get there from Knoxville you would probably have to drive to Nashville first and then north.

You may want to try Louisville also, which should be about a 1 hr drive.
As I recall, there are lots of good hotels in Louisville and some in Elizabethtown and Bowling Green. Not much in Rough River or Leitchfield.
