Hi Kevin
I am surprised that you got just one answer. There are many EZ
pilots in Arizona and S. Cal. Guess they are all gone to OSH.
I do not have my directory handy as I am also at OSH. When I
get back home I will send some names and phone or email info.
You are 10" taller than me and 100+ pounds heavier. You probably
could get comfortable in the front seat. But NEVER in the back.
You can get someone to help trim the width of the arm rests somewhat
but there is a limit to what you can gain with that.
Do not consider buying a Longeze with a O235 engine; you need a O320.
Be sure you get a good prepurchase examination from a GOOD
canard mechanic. For your area that would be Bill Oertel in S. Cal
or Dale Martin in Idaho or Burrall Sanders in CO.
You should be a member of the CSA if you are even thinking of
buying any canard pusher. This website has all the information
on joining. You get a directory so you can see who lives in Las
Vegas or other southwest cities. Best $25 you will ever spend.
I think you would be much happier with a Cozy III or Cozy IV
or an Eracer or Velocity with an engine large enough for the size.
Good luck.
Bruce Hughes
