I believe Ted sold his prop business to someone in the midwest, now doing business as Rowbear. I had a Ted's prop, then a Rowbear, same diameter and pitch, and they performed about the same. I upgraded to an O-320 on my Longez, and still have the Rowbear prop, but it's for an O-235.

Hope this helps. I have seen ads for Rowbear in the classified section of Kitplanes, so I'm sure he's still in business.  Quality was the same, and the Rowbear prop was indistinguishable from the Ted's. Same tooling.

Can only recommend Gary Hertzler.  He carves (fondles) them himself, flys a Vari and is very helpful when it comes to drag reduction and how to do 'stuff'.  And he is Awesome to work with.  I've flown his prop for 3 years and can recommend him highly.
