Hi to everybody;
I would like to introduce you to my old bird that I have just recently completed some very interesting changes and upgrades on, such as new wing fuel tanks, nose wheel steering, a front hinged canopy, oilcooler/cabin heater system, and many other interesting mods to almost every thing on it. I plan to to some taxi and flight tests at the Sierra Vista, AZ airport around the last 2 weekends of this month. Its been a few years since my ez has flown and I am looking forward to getting reaquainted with her. It flew the first time in the late fall of the early eighties with a Corvair engine and then was converted to a Lycoming 235 C1. In the late eighties I converted to a Lycoming 320.
In the mid nineties at about 400 hours total airframe time I was having wing fuel tank leak problems and parked it in my workshop until I had the time to do the needed repairs. As you all know time flies and finally after all these years of not having my glass mistress to play with in the clouds, its time to fly! I will be careful and keep you posted.
