I'm a little late to chime in (flew home Monday) but I'd like to echo Dave's comment: thank you, Don, for your planning, execution, and no small expense. <ComicBookGuy> Best fly-in ever!</ComicBookGuy>
With Dave Viglierchio and Paul Werner directing aircraft parking, things went oh so smoothly. Thanks to Charles, the forums stayed on schedule. Char Spencer gave up her trip to Yosemite with Harriet and me so she could tend to registrations on Friday. Thank you Mark Zeitlin for your riveting forums on your in-flight prop loss. I enjoyed Keith Spreuer's P-51 scoop cooling forum too.
I wasn't able to count all the EZs on the ramp (there were more than 40, maybe more than 50) and heard there were 90-some people for dinner.
Finally, I'm honored and pleased to accept the prize for traveling the furthest (after the couple from Kentucky and Joe Hull from Seattle had to leave <g>).
Flying time from Lewiston, ID to Columbia: 3:4 hours (523 NM).
Return trip over a longer route and stop for lunch: 4.1 hours total.
I expect we'll see the same cast of characters at the Burtday Party (June 21) in Mojave. Looking forward to it.
