OK guys, what's the best way to put them on. I have installed an electric nose lift, and since I'll be doing fairing (glass and epoxy) work anyway, I'm considering the doors for the wheel area.
Is there a great difference in drag from the flat plate bolted to the nose wheel casting approach? The photos I've seen make it look fairly simple, but it seems that the flat plate method centers the nosewheel during retract ... aeronautical engineers please repspond ... all those unhooded common sense (been there, tried that) types are also requested to post their findings and opinions.
