SQ2000
« on: January 26, 2015, 10:24:16 AM »
Hello all,
I just picked up a SQ2000 unfinished kit and I am in search of plans, parts etc to finish it. I have been looking for any info etc. on this kit and as you may have guessed, its sparse. I got to speak with David Hansen (builder) and he will advise me on anything he can to help from his builds with the SQ2000. He no longer has any plans, drawings or written info so I am now in search for plans, parts and pieces from a dead or wrecked kit if possible.
If anyone knows of anything or someone, get in touch with me so I can pursue any leads to get what I need to help with the build when I get started.
I will have all the plans up to and including the main spar install and need any info from that point on.
Thanks in advance for you help.

Heads up, starting tomorow, the 5th, the project will be up for auction with a reserve on Ebay for 5 days.
The complete instrument panel will also be up for a separate auction with a reserve on Ebay for 5 days.
The 20B is also for sale and it is separate and now on consignment in Fl.

Private PM's only as I am not on here much.
Thanks

It usually means they are bumping the ad to the front so it's at the top again...guess it didn't reach reserve.

Hello group,
I still have this project up for sale but I have decided to continue building until I find a buyer or finish it. I am now looking for parts to get going again. I need a Cozy front wheel castoring assembly used if possible and also a main landing gear hoop in any stage of completion. If  you know of anything or someone who may be parting out a stalled project, please let me know.
Thanks!

I can look through my database and send a list of all known SQ2000 builders so you can check with any of them for plans, etc.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. I just recently spoke with the former owner and he is going to send me a bunch of files from his old computer that is supposed to have plans etc from where he started.
I Have a lot of info on it already and a lot of the major stuff is done. Been chipping away at it every day now.
