I don't use the java required by that search engine but I found this interesting discussion with, what seems like, some knowledgeable people.

I think they both have occasional issues, but I like my Wright nose lift.  My understanding is the Harris' got out of that business so am not sure they are still available.  Jack's seems easier to retrofit?

It usually means they are bumping the ad to the front so it's at the top again...guess it didn't reach reserve.

I'd be interested in the main tubes.  How old, what brand, where bought?
Thanks

There is a guy on the Rutan LongEZ VariEze Facebook page looking for a bow.  May not need one but thinks he does.

Sure hope you got a good pre-buy inspection by a qualified canard person.  Preferably a multiple builder.  Better to ask these questions before purchase......
Good luck.

Here's one example; local long time A&P for airlines, from a family of military pilots, building his second RV told everyone he had the answer to everyone's dreams with his eggenfouler setup.  The only way to go, the best thing since sliced bread, (if that's good....).  After several engine outs, and a load of grief he yanked that thing off, tossed it in the corner of the hanger, refusing to sell it to any other suckers, and bought a hot Lycoming with EFII.  Never looked back. Total cost was ENORMOUS for the firewall forward for two setups after all the headaches.
Another young guy at our filed is stubbornly soldiering on with the same setup on a new build, knowing this story, and the rest of us just hope he lives to learn his lesson.
I guess it all depends on what you want to do, endlessly experiment and scare the hell out of yourself, or fly.  To each his own.  And learn who, on these forums, knows what they are talking about, (I'm just a 8 year buyer/owner reporting others experiences here seen first hand) and who just needs to socialize with a lot of blather.  It will become obvious after awhile.  Aside from a couple of very cool people here most of the real conoscenti are on the Yahoo forum but it's getting more an more chatty Cathys too.  Marc keeps the Cozy forum pretty accurate too.
Good luck.
PS: check the VAF forum for "E-fouler" discussions.  The guy that runs it is pretty PC so it's not as accurate as it could be, but still a lot of discussion and a good source for this stuff.

Stay away from it!  Know many horror stories about those in RVs.  You'll fight it and fight it and learn all you ever wanted to know about engine out landings,  if you're lucky.   Or lose the plane.
That guy (Egenfouler) screwed a lot of people then moved on.  Bad plan.
