So whom should I expect to see at Mohave this weekend?  The usual suspects from near and far, I presume, but Kelly says 400+ have registered and I don't even know 400 Canardians :-)

We're leaving at first light tomorrow (Friday) and flying formation with Jim Price.  If you're interested in tracking our route of flight you can use these two links:

I didn't purchase my LongEZ until Oct 2003 so I missed the last Rutan Birthday Bash.
This year I made it, almost information overload.The "Star" of the show was the Starship. I bought many raffle tickets but didn't win the ride in the Starship, I thought about waylaying the winner and stealing his ticket but there were too many people about.Bob Scherer the owner is a very generous person not only did he fly the winner and 4 friends but opened his aircraft to any body who wanted to look round.I hear there were over 60 aircraft on the ramp, the photo taken from the top of a 50ft cherry picker should verify this number.
I had made reservations at a local motel but flew out at about 6pm for my 257 mile flight back to Columbia.I met a lot of old friends and the celebrity count was impressive. As I said information overload and it ended all too soon, I will post again when I have collected my thoughts, I have been to Mojave Mecca am I am a believer.Remember when you park your LongEZ on the ground make sure it points to Mecca

The newest Rookie LEZ pilot in MT!  Currently have now 6.2 hrs on her and loving every minute of it.  I doubt I will go back to the Mooney ever again!
