If you have fuel injection, hot starts are deal with by purging the warm fuel out of the system and introducing cool fuel to the distributor block. If you don't have fuel injection, . .you might need to experiment with different methods. One thing I've tried is to cut the ignition before shutdown instead of the fuel, then when you restart, don't prime. That might help. Only do this if you know you're going to start again soon.
