Varieze project for sale, it's "through the bones" 50% done 90% to go...

I thought I had a buyer but he never showed up!

This is a never flown airframe, wing attach fittings are installed per plans and appear fine. Project was started in the early 80s and has been stored inside ever since (I am not the builder) I have the original plans from the RAF with serial number, along with paperwork and CP updates which have been checked off and annotated in the plans. The only modification I can find is the use of Long-ez main gear over the old vari bow.

I also have various parts that can be negotiated for but are not included as of now at this price:

Varieze wing fittings brand new and one wing completed, new (but stored improperly, will need bearings repacked) rims/brakes for varieze, a GU canard, rolls of glass, etc..)

I also have the set of TERF CDs, make offer

It's only been listed for a day and I have nearly 1000 views and 50 watchers via ebay! Of course that means nothing till I have the payment and am watching it get smaller and smaller as it drives away,

I can't seem to find anyone selling the TERF cds, what do you guys think they are worth/what should I ask for them?

If they are only worth 20bucks I'll just keep them because the Defiant plans are in them and I get a kick out of looking at them (I'm totally going to build a defiant someday, with TSIO 540s of course)

Sure!

I can send some photos as well, they are the Brock fittings and appear very nice. One half of one fitting is attached to the wing (as per plans) and the workmanship on the wing is good, I have had it inspected by an IA (the full project was inspected as well and declared airworthy for a place to start) and he said it was nice work.

I really don't know what to ask for them, as they are not made anymore and from what I can tell, unfindable.

$1500for the fittings and the wing and enough glass and foam to make the other wing? This would also come with the wiglets and rudders.

Maybe we can get a vote going in here as to what it's worth, I don't want to try to price gouge but I would like to get a fair value, and who else would know but the ez.org guys? So anyone feel free to weigh in and i will PM you the photos in the next hour or so as i have to go take some of the brakes for someone else

Actually I just need the spar half of the wing fittings and the cups. Can you part that out?

I would not part out half of the wing attach fittings.  Both or none. I hope you are not trying to take the spar end off as this would degrade the project.  I guess I'm saying it not a good idea to sell the wing attach separate unless you plan to part out the entire project.  Then its fire sell time.

Aren't all unfinished VE projects fire sales? I think they are worth more parted out.
