Nope.  Come to Columbia next year to see it and a lot of other great planes.  Like these from this year:

Just a thought Eric.  Most, if not all, of the off field landed/crashed EZs I've seen that stayed upright had electric nose gear.  Just an observation....

Tim Andres, from Red Bluff, finished his Cozy over a year ago.  Jon Dembs did too but sold it.  You just missed the West Coast Canard fly-in at Columbia last month.  There was a new Long EZ there but don't know the builder, he's local.  Interesting canopy on his:

Or, probably NOT the best place to practice touch and go's ;)

That is a nice way of putting it!
Have fun out there.

I'm guessing you've done the typical Google search.  First flight noted in the CP #29, July 1981.  Same time Robert Harris' Vari first flight noted.
You might ask Beagle.  He keeps a substantial record of canards.  Hope you've been getting good advice/oversight on the work you're doing.
Good luck.

Assuming you mean to say you need one....suggest ordering from Chrissy.  Theirs are the best with bearings fitted to each wheel.

Excellent, as usual!
Some really great new planes there.  Burrall sure built a smoking Berkut!

Ask Beagle.  From what I've been told nobody has ever been successfully sued in such a situation.  Several planes have been scrapped because of these fears and many are still flying.  Beagle knows the history.
If you can't shake the concern at least have them give you a hold harmless document of some sort.  An attorney would be better equipped to discuss with you.

Hangar Flying / Friday Harbor

This is a sad deal but I'd like to think there are other restaurants there!

I know some like the city/harbor view going to Bremerton but it's just not the same.  Or even close...

Bill,
I have this one:

http://buy-ei.com/portfolio/r-1/

But when I asked them about using it with the P-Mag they wanted a few hundred for the 'adapter' and I just did without.  I'm guessing the adaption is a simple piece of electronics that a techie could build in a no time?
Am switching over to Dynon now and hope it's compatible.....
