Oh man, bad timing. My VariEze just came home for the next few months to get the fuselage painted so we're down to two planes in the hanger. No photos.
FWIW, we have mid-size Porta-port "T" hanger, circa 1984 that they called "light twin size" or something like that. I think it's 42 feet across the front?
#1 VEZ goes straight in, nose first and offset to the right, into the base of the "T" until the right wing is close to the corner of the hanger "T" (watch out for hanger rash!). There's room beyond and beside the nose for shelves and work benches.
#2 VariEze backs in on the right side, wings first until the nose is clear of the entrance door. (Watch the left winglet!)
#3 VariEze goes in on the left side until the canard is about a foot from the "T" and the winglet is clear of the folding side door. There's room for one bench on the left wall. The left side door hinge had to be reversed so that it "buckles outward" when opening/closing or else it won't clear #3's winglet.
Really need a picture. A lot of 'nesting' and overlap, but it actually works pretty well, as long as everybody takes care to avoid hanger rash.
