Builder in Charlotte area

I am looking for a builder in the Charlotte  NC area to work with on a Long-Var EZ, Cozy etc.  I plan to build a Long EZ in the future and would like to work with an experienced builder.

Hi

I assume that your initials are B.E.   So, BE, you are interested in canard aircraft.   The first
thing that you should do is join the CSA.   When you get the directory for 2009, you will find
that there are approximately 14 CSA members in N. Carolina.   Probably any of them will be
happy to help you.   I don't see any listed for Charlotte but there probably are surburbs of
Charlotte.

Before you get the directory, you could call Rick Crapse who is the state representative for
N.Carolina.   He certainly can help you and probably knows other builders who are not in
the CSA (why they are not in CSA is a mystery to me - it is the best $30 that you will spend

Looking at the website and every reference is to articles in 2004-2005 I was thinking that the CSA was defunct myself.  I am in the Charlotte, NC area and was interesting in finding someone local who is/has built one.

You are VERY mistaken; CSA is very much alive and well.

If you are not a member, you are missing a good newsletter.

Of course it was more important before the advent of so many
websites that we can use but it is still a very good newsletter
to get.
