Auto Fuel

Does anybody know for sure what brand supplies their gas without alcolhol in it.

Some driver I hear have used auto fuel in thier EZ's for several years. I would like to know what brands they found without the alcolhol

I stick with major brand name, 87 octane only, and check the placards for additives when I purchase. I usually stay with one gas station thats close to the airport.  I also do alcohol testing, randomly.  I always fill up my car with the same pump when I fill my cans.

To date, I've never had any problems.

From what I have read some states eg. Washington State do not have to post the alcohol content on their pumps if less than 10 percent !!
Anyone verify this for any state?

I would just stick with Avgas,

I was in KHLN last week, and 100ll was $3.95!

Lycoming is in the process of getting avgas (a certain type, but available at most stations) approved for some engines.  This is for O360 & IO360 only at this time.  You will have t have some paper work done as well.

I believe that will be 93 octane, unleaded.   I heard from someone
(who is pretty expert) on another website.   You are supposed to wait
for the paperwork.   It IS for O360 engines only.

According to Ian Welsh, Gen Mgr at Lycoming, it is gas designated "Euro Norm EN228 ( Europe) or ASTM D4814 in the USA" and is for both O360 & IO360.  There is not an Octane number assigned to the fuel requirement as yet.
