I have a new (never used) TRT 250 that I removed the pushbuttons out of, and if your buttons work they can be removed from yours and installed in this one. It has been checked out and works good.

If anyone wants a never used/installed Terra TRT 250 and AT 3000 matched pair with harness and install manuals, they are currently for sale. I'm selling for my father who, due to cancer, never finished his Varieze project.

I suspect many of these TRT250s have not yet been modified to comply with an AD that has been issued on them. Apparently, the original design occassionally did not respond to ATC or airborne interrogations, effectively making you invinsible. Make sure your TRT250 has Mod 2 & especially Mod 5. The cheaper used units are least likely to be modified and I don't know if any avionics shops will still work on them.
