Just caught this on the news. Limited details at this time, but that never stops the press from speculating. "...jet fuel on the road..." Never let it be said that the press would ever let the facts get in the way of a good story.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

The family has been notified. They were interviewed last night by a local station.

The pilot was LtCol. Jeffery Michael Arnold, 44, who was on active duty in
the USMC. He was assigned to the Joint Forces Command in Suffolk and had
21 years in the service. The news reported he had 70 hours in the plane
and was a rear seat pilot in the F18 in the Marine Corps. The plane, N8VE,
was purchased in South Carolina.
