Center Spar Jack and Strake Table

After trying to level the Cozy on Saw horses, I went down to Home Depot and picked up 3 house jacks. One for each end of the center spar and one under the fuselage behind FS 28. I welded tripod leg on them. I can level the Cozy in about five minutes. Another View Instead of supporting the Strake table with legs at the center spar, I used 3/8" threaded rod to support the table. Each table has two "beams" made from two pieces of 3/4"x3 1/2" particle board with 1/2" ply spacers between. The top of the treaded rod is supported by 3/4" ply scraps. At the front of the "beams" I used 1/2" ply for legs, which I screwed a short 2x2 on it to stiffen. The bucket I use to reach to the back of the strake |
