Setting Up The Shop

Because of limited space in my garage, I've had to really think things out when it came to preparing the shop for this build. To the right is one of my inventions. (Although I'm sure I'm not the only one who has thought of this before). I had a couple of old doors at our warehouse. They are both 7' long, and since all the "BIG" stuff was already complete when I bought this project, I didn't feel the need for a "Monster Table". I used some cheap hinges I purchased at Lowe's, along with support latches for the table legs. As you can see in this photo, the table folds flat against the wall, and latches with a simple "Eye & Hook".

Here's a shot in the down position. Believe it or not the table is perfectly flat when in this position.

UPDATE!!! April 11, 2008

We've moved! The new house is almost 1000 square feet bigger than the old house. And I now have my very own shop in the back yard. This picture show how it looked just after moving in and before setting it up.
