Chapter 16 - Control System

The Plan

In this chapter we will install the pitch, roll, and yaw systems. This control system will later be enclosed with arm rests.

The stick assembly was purchased from the Cozy Girrls. They make wonderful stuff. Here it is assembled to align the CS-109s for securing to the fuselage sides. A good fit of everything at this point is critical to insure no binding when flying.

The CS-118 and related hardware shown here are put in place to lacate where the block will mount on the sides. These are then disassembled to permenantly mount the CS-118 to the side.

Here again are some more Cozy Girrl parts. The CS-124 assemblies were beautifully made and come fully ready to install. The CS-122s are not needed because they are part of the CS-124s. This assembly isn't drilled or bolted in until later, to insure you get full deflection on your ailerons.
