Chapter 12 - Canard Installation

In this chapter we will fit the canard to the fuselage. It is very important that in this step you insure the canard is LEVEL, PREPENDICULAR, and at the correct INCIDENCE ANGLE. When all of these have been met you will mount the canard in this position.Would you believe I got so busy building I didn't take the first picture of this chapter build!? I will now go back and take some and up date this chapter later.
When the canard is placed onto the fuselage, it is very important that it is aligned! To do that I had to add a few layers behind the other tab, so the right wingtip would be as far forward as the left. Once that has dried, and you set the proper incidence, you drill out the tabs.
The incidence is keep in place by more tabs made of foam and glass. A pin and bushing will hold the wing at the proper angle for flight.
The canard completely installed. Elevators working and trim also.
