Has Anybody tried aerothane By ployfiber? I like the idea of a single stage paint . Fewer coats, less weight  and flexible.
please let me know your experiences

Hangar Flying / cooling baffling help

Help!
 I am building a long ez with armpit style cooling scoops . I need to find a source for the cooling baffling templates for the berkut style cooling tin. I am willing to pay anybody for there time to copy plans or buy what the have . I just don't to try  trail and terror if I dont have to.
thanks for any advice or sugestions were to look.

I am interested in what  people are painting there planes with.
I am considering a single stage urathane like aerothane .


   1. Is the aerothane more durable than auto paint like ppg or dupont ?

   2. Does it lay down well with a good gloss?

   3. Does it repair well when spotted in

    any sugestions ?

The reason I am thinking single stage is it is lighter with fewer coats at the cost of less gloss.

What are you guys getting the best results with?

My condolances to his family. I just recieved news of his accident.
He was in my book a important figure in the canard comunity.
If I ever had a question he was always there to give advise
 I only met him twice but I will miss him and feel I lost a freind.


Please if anybody has any facts of what hapend I would like to know as much as possible

Hangar Flying / fuel and oil lines

hey guys

    I would like to know what is the consensus on the best hose to use for

fuel and oil cooler lines. stratoflex? aeroquip ? fabricate my own, or have

the lines fabricted complete with firesleeve by a supplier? please let me

know your experences.
