Title: Forward controle pressure

I seem to need quite a bit of forward pressure to keep my canard down during level flight. I have an o-235 and cruise at about 150 Knts. My empty weight and cg are 957lbs at 108.77 inches. With me and 30 gallons of fuel my cg falls at 101.38 about the aft limit's of the first flight box of 101.5 well within limits of the aft CG of 104. I have shortened the trim spring by and inch and added 14 pounds to the nose. What should I do next should I add more weight to the nose or get a stronger springs?
The CG of 101.38 includes the nose weight of 14lbs at station #6
Any suggestion is helpful

1. Elevator contour (check)
2. Canard incidence (check)
3. Any recent addition of wheelpants?
Don't go playing around with W&B or revised trim springs until you verify 1 and 2 above. Note also that the aft CG limit for the Long-EZ was changed from FS 104 to FS 103 in Canard Pusher (CP) 39 (Long-EZ Plans Change (LPC) #116).
Addition of wheelpants will (or will have a high-probability to) change the pitch trim characteristics - it is possible to run out of forward trim at higher airspeeds if wheelpants are introduced onto the airplane where they previously were never installed.
