I just bought a Varieze and its in a hanger two hundred miles from where I'm working right now so I can't go measure it easily.
Was wondering what size the bulkhead is in diameter for use with the hershey kiss type spinner.
Also if its SAE 1 or 2, or can it be either. Dumb questions I know but would appreciate the help. Thanks Joe Stevens

Need to know the engine - if it is an O-200 it is an SAE 1
If a Lycoming it could be either depending on the last three letters of the Engine code ie O-235L2C
Lycoming Type Certicicate will help you decipher you that ie for a O-235

Its a Cont. 0-200 and I have it all figured out except that I need the hub thickness. Have to wait until I go back over to the hanger to measure. Thanks for the advice though. Joe

Different question. If anyone out there is useing the hersey kiss type spinner, are you useing a fwd. and aft. bulkhead?

There are simple Hershey kiss spinners that plop onto the aft crush plate, 6" is likely the right size for an O-200 crush plate.  Chris Wade sold them and was lost in a Cessna accident - his son has taken over the fabrication - get in touch for more details.  There are the earlier designs that go to the front of the prop, with prop cut outs...with the most sophisticated now offered by James Redmon, but may not be right for 6" crush plate...the only sure thing is that aluminum spinners can fail and cause all manner of problems...
