Title: Troubleshooting Wright Nose Lift
Post by: flyingwaldo on June 17, 2012, 06:00:56 PM
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the Wright nose lift? Had mine repaired and after reinstalling I get no action from the gear switch at all. Manual power to it works it fine. Don't have the documentation that should have come with it - the installer never passed it along. Thanks!

The Wright Nose Lift is pretty nice. I retro'd it in my longes project and it was very ez. Road up and down with it several times :)

You might drop Robert or Valerie Harris an email, am certain they can provide you with a diagram. http://www.ezjetinc.com/aboutus.php

They (Wilhelmsen or Wright) both work well :)
The Wilhelmsen is a drop in replacement for the manual crank, but you will have to drill the AL attach plates of the lift to fit your EZ. I installed one in my Cozy build, FWIW.
And the Wright requires notching/cutting an existing bulkhead, last I checked.
They both work well :)

After researching both lifts I am going with the EZ nose lift. I think both web sites attempt to describe their lifts but the EZ appeared, to me, more advanced, better constructed and easer to install.

Re-troffitted mine about 4 years ago and it works really good. Really straight forward to install and Jack is very good with support....

I purchased the EZ nose lift. Is there anything to be made aware of before installing it? Someone told me to solider all of the connections before installing. Anyone hear of that?

Just had a line on a slightly used nose lift - out of a Corporate robotic Berkut. Get in touch - canardfinder@att.net - price not yet set but expect a discount off new.
