NG3 bolt

I know there was a mod to put a bolt thru the nose gear leg to better clamp on NG3.  Where was this written?  Can't seem to find it.

I think it was in one of the later CP's. I didn't do mine until "After" NG3 had slid up and busted the nose wheel casting. Fortunately, I was very slow and had just pulled off the runway.

Location isn't real critical. I would suggest floxing the NG3 in place as called out in the plans, when the flox is cured and everthing is set, then aim for the center of the strut when you drill the hole.  Use an AN3-15A bolt and lock nut.  I had to grind off the exposed threads so they wouldn't hit the fuselage when retracting the gear.

Guarentee that NG3 will NEVER slid again.
