Just curious if there are any members around the central valley? I am interested in building a long-ez or cozy---haven't decided yet. I would like to meet someone that has or is building a canard. Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks!

Tim Andres, from Red Bluff, finished his Cozy over a year ago.  Jon Dembs did too but sold it.  You just missed the West Coast Canard fly-in at Columbia last month.  There was a new Long EZ there but don't know the builder, he's local.  Interesting canopy on his:

Yes, that is a very interesting canopy. It looks as if when its open, you have total access to everything from the instrument panel forward if he made the sun shield one piece and removable all the way. If I were still building, I would surely consider this as an option if it didn't upset the plane with the nose mod.
    Has it flown yet?
