If you can get the strengths right with this new process, more power to you!Beagle, this is a single seat canard. As far as getting the strength right, Jeff and Russ have been at this for a very long time.
Guys, this will be fully retractable and there will be two prototypes built.
One will be twin jet powered ( both engines residing in fuselage side by side much like the F-18 ) . The second will be piston powered, but not diesel( someday,maybe),with a Jabiru 3300 the likely choice.
The FAA approved program Bob Carlton offers is not that intense and makes it pretty easy to acquire your turbine qualification.
It will be a fast build kit offering and is single place. Build time of airframe will likely be around six weeks with diligent effort. We may consider offering staged purchasing of sub kits.
It is exciting to finally get around to developing this as I designed this bird back in 1995, would have made quite an impact back then.
I may treat landing gear as I did my Orion , with the ability to build as a fixed gear with shared gear leg components and leave out actuators until you (or your insurance company) are comfortable with the idea of operating a retractable undercarriage.
