Title: OSHKOSH
Post by: a*v*8-tor on August 02, 2005, 08:23:04 PM
Tried like heck to get there, but didn't make it this year.
Can someone post info/photos/overview of EZ flyin?
Did anyone see any Long-eze's for sale at the show or know of any available thoroughbreds?
Thanks!

Back from AirVenture/Oshkosh 2005. My wife Gail and I had a great week there. Our Rutan VariEze performed flawlessly, as usual. There were a large number of Rutan canards this year, drawn by Burt Rutan’s White Knight, SpaceShipOne, and Global Flyer. Here are a few of the 115 photos we took during the trip. We camped in the Homebuilt Camping area, and we met and talked with so many people who fly or are building either a VariEze, a LongEZ, or a Cozy Mk IV like we are building. Burt Rutan, Sir Richard Branson, and Paul Allen announced the creation of a new joint venture company, The SpaceShip Company, which will build 5 SpaceShipTwo’s (7 seats) very soon and begin offering suborbital flights to the general public in 2008.
I’ll upload and post links to lots of other photos if anyone is interested in the rest. Cozy builder Rick Maddy took more than 500 photos, so perhaps cruise over to maddyhome and check those out.
