To provide flight instruction and get paid for it, one is not allowed to use experimental aircraft. I can therefore conclude there is no one in this country providing primary flight training in an EZ.

If you have bought an EZ and have at least a private pilot's certificate, there are instructors that can help you learn the EZ's flight requirements. As they don't usually have dual controls, you transfer your flying skills yourself. Therefore, as you get your rating in Cessnas and/or Pipers, seek a flying club with lots of different aircraft (with dual controls) to check out and learn what it takes to experience aircraft with differing performance. Prior to flying my Varieze, I had about 130 hours flying Cessna 150/152s, then 8 hours in a Cessna 140, 6 hours in a Grumman Yankee AA-1A(--right seat!) and 6 hours in a Piper Cherokee. I also did loop, roll and spin training in a Decathalon. And I was given a ride in a VE and a LEZ as a passenger with stick control only. The Grumman was the closest to the Varieze. I am still learning to fly my VE, just like I still learn something when I fly a Cessna or Piper. Also, I did get good flying from the right seat. Good luck, there is an EZ in your future, just a little farther into your future than primary flight training.
