Title: alternator on vacum pump pad

Is B&C my only option for an alternator that will mount on my unused vacum pump pad? (O-235 L2C)

Surely someone else out there makes one. I am certain that B&C is quality merchandise and I will probably go that direction but I want to look at any other options.

Given that lots of vacuum pumps are being pulled nowadays and not replaced (nod to EFIS and the like), it seems like this market might increase a little.  I don't know of any other manufacturers besides B&C.

B&C units are nice, but they are also on the high-end of "reasonably priced."
