From Chantilly, it is about 45 minutes.  Pentagon to Culpeper is probably about 1.5 to 2 hours.  Traffic should not be bad.

Forecast might have some rain in the late afternoon. Will try for a noon arrival. Well blast over your hangar and see if your there.  Spent several hours going through the bird today.  Had to wait till the water thawed out finally.

Going up for a New Years flight too.  Will have my serious tool boxes along too.

Happy New Year!!!!!

Thanks for the tour Drew! As I had hoped, I learned allot in the very short time we were able to stay. Only after we left did I remember the other hundreds of questions that I neglected to ask. Isn't that how it usually works out. I was also happy to hear that you are in the tail hook community ridding in the bird that I know and love so much. To say that I have blood sweat and tears in those birds would be a monumental understatement! I'll have to pull out my old cruise book and bounce a few names off of you and see if some of my old friends are still flying.  Two inparticular, Steve Morris aka Grinder. Last I heard he was flying adversary in Fallon. The other would be Mike "Flex" Galpin. He transferred to the Pentagon in 96'  and I haven't heard a thing of him since. Both are great guys and really influenced my career choices.
Hopefully within the next couple weeks I will have passed my check ride and will be able to take the Cherokee up and visit again.
