Wow!  thanks so much everybody, and I suppose In the face of overwhelming odds I'll have to concede and make the stick standard.  Oh, and I'm actually in Mass so if anyone is in that area I'd love to get together.  

Chris, I want, as near as I can tell, all of your mods.  Any pictures you could email me would be greatly appreciated, although there's a good chance I'm gonna be in southern inland california sometime in the next month...

Anyway, thanks for the warm welcomes, I'm going to go and figure out how much foam I need to buy...

I was actually going to just reverse the whole cockpit so I can fly it lefty with right hand for throttle and incorrectly stabbing buttons on the radios...

Oh, and one modification I'm definately doing is switching the controls to the left side.  I'm severely left handed.  It seems I can just manufacture the control system the opposite way of the plans and it should work.  Any thoughts?

Thanks for the warm welcome!I'm the proud owner of a set of long ez plans with various and sundry add ons like "vertical rudders" and optional engine info.  It's basically a very old set of plans with some add ons.  If anyone out there can elaborate on the changes that people have been making then I'd greatly appreciate it.

Hello All, I just managed to get myself out of the category of 'wannabes without plans' and into the coveted category of 'wannabes WITH plans.'  Needless to say I'm pretty happy.  Anyway, if anyone has any advice or thoughts or random statements on anything at all, I'd love to hear them!
