VariEasy parts available
« on: April 08, 2013, 10:21:34 AM »
A friend & mentor of mine recently passed away and I am cleaning out his basement.  Around 1978 to 1980 he started but never finished a VariEasy and has a few components.  His widow is happy to give these away if someone could use them in the construction of their own plane.  We have a full box of foam and the wing attachment fittings.  I have a couple of pictures but the site will not allow me to attach them.  Let me know if you are interested.  You can email me from my profile & i will respond with the pictures.  Mike

To all interested.

I was at my friend’s house last night & took a couple more photos of the foam box.  This should help someone to see its contents.

I have had numerous inquiries regarding the wing attach fittings, however not much interest in the foam pieces.  I also found a box with a couple of piano hinges for control surfaces, not sure exactly how long they are, but probably 4 – 5’.  All of this is free to anyone who will take it.  At this time we wish for it all to be taken, thus if you want the wing fittings, plan to take the foam box and hinges also.  Even if you do not need the foam, if you are actively involved in building a VariEasy and the builders forum, you should have no problem selling it to someone else also building.

We are located in the Kansas City area, a suburb on the southwest side. Let me know if you are interested and we can make arrangements.    You can send me an email and I will reply with the photos and any more info I have.  Mike
