Is there an online version of the LongEz pilots handbook that someone can send or link me to? I know I can get one from RAF, but if there is an online version, I could start studying it much more quickly.

RAF will send you one in about a week.  Then you get the authentic version right from the horse's mouth.......so to speak.

http://www.noaa.inel.gov/Capabilities/longEZ/Safety.asp

This is (or rather, was) the highly modified LongEZ used for atmospheric research by NOAA. The owner's manual is really excellent and is based on the original but is considerably expanded and reflects the many modifications made to this particular airplane.

The owner of this airplane unfortunately died while flying it. No problem with the airplane, evidently...he suffered a massive stroke in flight.

Great links, all. Thanks. The POH for the research EZ is very informative and helpful. There is also a flight manual at the Aerocad2.com site, but did not know how close it was to the official EZ manual...although also interesting.
