Maybe you all have seen one of these, but this is the first time I've run across a picture of one being produced:

Seems pretty slick.  Yeah I do miss oil quanity gauges. I use to fly C-1/S-2 series aircraft in the Navy and those old oil sucking 1820s could suck up some oil and no freaking  oil quanity gauge.

Just might have to pick one up. With the damn pushers, you might not see a good oil leak in time.  About all you would see is high oil temp, followed by falling oil pressure.

I really like the idea----but I don't want to get rid of my quickdrain
