Hi all -
Would anyone like a partner for their plane at KLVK, KOAK, or KCCR?
After 2+ years of evaluation and searching and deciding between Q200's (my first love), VariEze's (fast, cheap), and Long-EZ's (more docile, better range), I've concluded (1) an excellent example of any one is better than a middling first-choice; (2) I'm not willing to give up my spam can until everyone I fly is comfortable in the experimental (so operating costs matter); (3) the right way to have one is to work on it and hangar it, and I'll never get a hangar in the bay area; and (4) there's a lot of knowledge and care involved, and two heads are better than one. As a partner I'm easygoing but trained as a quality engineer and lawyer to get things right, up front if possible. I'm also willing to help finish a project in the near term, and to care for the plane in exactly the way an owner/builder specifies.
Thanks -
Wes
