Thanks for the comments about my panel. I make panels for a living and work with all of the popular EFIS and avionics systems that are available for our airplanes. A well designed layout, balance, and thoughtful placement are very important elements to incorporate into a good design.

The stick in my airplane is something that I made for myself. It started out as an F-16 replica stick for PC Gaming. I used the shell, built up the inside with high quality buttons and switches, and inserted a mating shaft to attach it to the airplane's control system. I can make more, but haven't yet...

I thinking of retrofitting to Skyview for my Bird....I like the configuration of the N7999H. What type of Aluminum is the panel frame??

The panel frames are .125 2024-T3 aluminum, with some lateral and vertical .063 angle on the back, to stiffen it up, and facilitate the attachment of radio trays, wiring clamps, etc. The Skyview system is great, but keep in mind that it isn't the only one out there. Play with them all and see which one you like. I highly recommend the GRT Sport.

I currently have another dual display GRT system going in another Long-EZ, and have an RV-8 that will be getting a dual Skyview system this summer. Besides the 10" Skyview in the Long-EZ that you see here, I've also done a 7" in a Wheeler Express.

Where are you located?

I still want see more pics of everyone's panels. I think they're more fun to look at than paint jobs. Keep them coming!

Here's more history on my plane than most want to hear.  I started out being very anal about everything on the build. When the airframe was done (about as precisely as I could master), I started on the finishing process.  At some point, I locked up and went into about a three year burn-out phase, where I barely touched the project.  After that, I was in a phase of, let's get this plane in the air before....  The last step was when I was leaving work one day and looking over my to-do list.  I decided that all the items left were not safety related and it's time to go fly.  That was 1995 and after over-hauling the engine in 98/99, I put the project aside while I pursued foolish endeavors.  I did a rebuild of the exterior in 2007/2008.  I'm proud of the part of my plane that interfaces with the air. My interior is not impressive or something that you would want to pattern off of.
