For Sale/Wanted / Wright nose gear retraction/extension kit

Guys:

Wright Nose Gear Extension/retraction kit
Used, supposedly, but it looks great. I
think it was never completely installed; I
just see some tiny scratches. You can see
pictures at EZJets Inc. website.

$1,200 OBO. That is $300 or $350 under the
new price and over $700 under the other
(Wilhelmson) price.

For Longeze. Too heavy for a Varieze.

I recommend that you install it when you
are in Chapter 13 or, at least, before Chapter
21. I do NOT recommend you retrofit but
Valerie at EZJets Inc. does install new ones
as retrofits; maybe you could hire Valerie or
someone to install it.

You may find that you have to relocate the radio
and transponder if those are already installed.
It must be done before the panel and before
electrical wiring (I moved all of my wires before
I gave up).

Hangar Flying / Landing training at OSH

Hi Group

I now have a Longeze that is airworthy as far as we can
determine. It has flown 3 times and probably will fly
tomorrow. We corrected a couple of minor problems.

Now the problem is me. I will be at Oshkosh most or all
of the "Airventure" week. 2 friends are taking their C-182.
I would certainly appreciate any ride that I can get. I
had some training in landing about 5 - 6 years ago. The
two pilots that would do that for pay do not do it any more.
I can pay for gas or whatever is needed.

I also have to do my BFR in August. Maybe I can do that
at the same time or in someone's C-152, 172, etc. I
have done a few landings recently in my Ercoupe but do
not really feel current, even in the Ercoupe. Otherwise
I can do the BFR here in my Ercoupe.

Hangar Flying / Spread sheet and CG

Hi group

Our EAA chapter (326) has very accurate scales for members.
I feel comfortable with my project's CG but I am still
going to do the weighing and calculation again. I bought
a new battery which is lighter but can slide forward
another 3/4". So I don't expect a lot of change. It
is time to do a condition inspection so new calculations
will be better, IMHO.

I am planning to do it with a known quantity of gasoline
in each tanks. I have done the weighing with the tanks
empty before; does not seem reasonable to drain all the
gas as the tanks are so close to the CG and there is
some hazard in draining tanks.

Someone gave me a copy of a spread sheet program but
it is in an old computer. The old one had a small
problem anyway.

I think it is time I buy one. How do I do that? I don't
have spread sheet software.
