Looking for a cover for my Long.  Is there anyone out there making them anymore? :lol:

I've checked out both of the above websites. Different fabrics seem to be used by the vendors.  My need is not only for a "travel" cover, but also for a "storage" cover. If no hangar is available, I suppose full covers would be the next best option. I was wondering if anyone has tried any type of full covers?

Frankly, I would go with the cover from www.eracer.org.

The lady is Shirl Dickey's wife.   She makes a very good cover
(well, Bruce probably does, too) and the price is very reasonable.


I have one ready to put on the Longeze.  :)

I have a cover from Bruces custome Cover. 5 peices, covers the whole plane. The main cover has a velvet like inside to protect the plexi. Secures vary well. Keeps strange finger prints off plexi and out of MY cockpit. My plane has always been hangared, but I still cover it to keep the dust off.
I know the Bruce cover costs much more, but you do get what you pay for.

The Dickey cover covers the plane from nose to prop--basically over the fuselage part---as shown in the photos---and is very good at keeping rain out.

Bruce's (have not seen his in person though) may be more suitable for outside storage.  He makes a cover that will cover the whole plane.
