hangar space requirements for a varieze
« on: July 31, 2014, 10:18:01 AM »
hey guys. my first post here. im building a pietenpol but also have an opportunity to pick up a varieze. will be working on both in a very large garage, but when they are both done was planning on a T hanger here in the west palm beach fl area.
question: will a varieze and a pietenpol (similar footprint of a cub) fit in 1 T hanger? thanks. Paul

I have a Varieze in Punts Gorda FL. It was flying and will be again within three months.

There is ample hangar space available at KPGD, both rental and through the fence purchase ... It also doesn't hurt that I am a Real Estate Broker, Varieze owner, and all around nice guy!

There are wonderful "lifts" that can put one plane above another.   Have you put your name on the hangar list - in busy airports that timing can be important too.

Love to send you all the locals - you might be able to share with another EZ even if you have to have a full hangar for the Pietenpol...or you might be able to go to a T and see how it would fit together with his EZ...
