Title: considering a Vari

I am considering purchasing a Vari ez. I love the design etc. My concern is whether I will fit and can fly it in Cg solo. I am 6 ft 2 inches which I am told will be ok, but I weigh 235. I read that max pilot weight is 220lbs.  Yes, I can loose a few pounds but my dad is the other pilot who would fly this bird and he is a couple pounds heavier. I realize it would be a "solo" plane or with a light passenger, but will it work with a typical Vari ez CG?

The cold hard facts, with both of you guys coming in at over 200 POUNDS go for a Long-EZ instead     :)
