Title: Wooden Prop Builder - Florida
Post by: rorsolits on November 15, 2009, 07:12:05 AM
Does anyone know the guy who builds wood props in Florida, I belive he is in Brando, or Bradenton Florida. He built me a prop about 6 years ago.  I need a new one but I cant remember his name or contact info.  Any help would be appreciated.

You may be thinking of Ed Sterba in Holmes Beach, FL.  He's built two props for my Longeze.  Good workmanship and reasonable prices.  Email is ed_sterba@excite.com.  I'm switching to an O-320 and must sell my current 62 X 70 and 61 X 64.

What does Sterba charge for his props?  Does he do leading edge protection?  Does he sheath the prop in glass or carbon?
